How the Ro Body price works
Ro Body uses two separate charges: a care membership and, if prescribed, a medication charge. The lowest number on the page is not the total cost of treatment.

The $39 first month is described as a risk-free start. Ro’s terms say it is refunded if medication is never prescribed and the person is not enrolled in the renewing membership. Once the membership is active, different cancellation and refund rules apply.
Medication prices are additional
The following were displayed on Ro’s official pricing page on August 25, 2026. They are medication-only amounts, in addition to the required membership, and may vary with dose or manufacturer offer terms.

Ro also describes an insurance pathway for selected products, including Wegovy pen, Zepbound autoinjector pen, and Ozempic. Coverage is not guaranteed, and the membership fee itself is not paid by insurance.
A $74 membership plus a $199 medication is not a $74 treatment. Compare the membership charge, medication charge, upfront prepayment, dose changes, and insurance result together.
Medication model and prescribing
The current Ro Body pages reviewed emphasize FDA-approved brand products. Ozempic is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes and may be prescribed off-label for weight management at a provider’s discretion. A brand appearing on the site does not guarantee that it will be prescribed or available to a particular person.
Ro coordinates the platform and pharmacy access. Medical decisions belong to Ro-affiliated licensed professionals. The terms name Roman Health Ventures Inc., Roman Health Medical LLC, Roman Health Pharmacy LLC, and related affiliates.
What membership includes
Ro says the membership includes access to the clinical program, provider messaging, regular check-ins, coaching, insurance-concierge support, dose adjustments, and lab testing when necessary. The medication itself remains a separate charge.
Cancellation and refund stages
Ro’s terms distinguish two stages:
- Before enrollment: if medication is never prescribed, the initial purchase price is refunded and the renewing membership does not begin.
- After activation: the membership renews automatically until cancelled. Paid membership fees are generally non-refundable, and a cancellation should be placed before the next renewal according to the account terms.
If insurance does not cover the medication, Ro says the member may explore cash-pay alternatives or cancel the membership. Ask when cancellation becomes effective before assuming that a pending insurance review pauses billing.
