Who we are

Weight Care Index is an editorial publication operated by Anjoudev, a French SASU with share capital of €1,000, based in Saint-Germain-des-Prés (49), France and registered with the Angers Trade and Companies Register (RCS Angers 984 269 506). You can reach us at hello@weightcareindex.com.

Our privacy-first approach

This site is a static, content-only publication. It has no user accounts,no patient portal, and does not collect health or medical information. We aim to collect as little data as possible.

Minimal technical logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs for security and reliability. These logs are generated at the hosting layer.

Cookies

We do not set non-essential or advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising trackers. Our audience-measurement tool (see below) is configured to work without cookies.

Audience measurement (analytics)

Weight Care Index uses a self-hosted Matomo installation, operated by Anjoudev, to measure how the site is used and to improve it. It is configured to be privacy-friendly:

  • No cookies are set for analytics in the current configuration; the browser“Do Not Track” signal is respected.
  • No account, login, or persistent user identifier is created.
  • Purpose: understand traffic volume, referring sites and marketing campaigns (UTM), which pages and guides are read, clicks on outbound links and file downloads, and “page not found” (404) errors, so we can improve the content.
  • Data categories: technical and usage data such as pages viewed, the referring page, an approximate location derived from a truncated/anonymized IP address, and general device/browser information.
  • We do not capture text you type into forms, and we use no heatmaps, session recording, or profiling.
  • No medical or health data is requested or intended to be collected through analytics.

Analytics data is processed on our self-hosted Matomo server and is not sold or shared for advertising. You can opt out by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser or via the Matomo opt-out page.

Contact form

There is no active contact form in this version; we provide an email address instead. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.

Hosting provider

The site is served as static files by OVHcloud (OVH SAS), 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. Hosting is located in France.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data (for example, access, correction, or deletion). To make a request, contact us at hello@weightcareindex.com.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
