How MEDVi works
MEDVi is a telehealth platform. Its terms identify MEDVi, LLC as the platform entity, while medical treatment is described as being provided through affiliated professional entities and OpenLoop Health clinicians. The clinician, not MEDVi’s marketing platform, decides whether a prescription is appropriate. Completing an assessment does not guarantee treatment.
The most important pricing point is that MEDVi does not have one universal model. Its compounded and brand-name paths are billed differently.

These prices were displayed on a specific MEDVi landing page checked on August 25, 2026. Other MEDVi pages have previously contained unresolved price placeholders or different offer framing. Treat the page and checkout you actually receive as the controlling offer.
The $99 figure is a membership amount for the brand-name path, not the total monthly cost of Wegovy or Zepbound. MEDVi did not publish the separate brand medication amount on the page reviewed.
Medications and FDA status
MEDVi presents compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as cash-pay options. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of FDA-approved brand drugs. MEDVi’s own disclosures state that compounded GLP-1 products have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
The program also references brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound. FDA approval of a brand product does not establish its current availability, price, or suitability through MEDVi. Brand availability is described as subject to change.
What the compounded price says it includes
The reviewed price-lock page says the compounded monthly rate includes:
- clinician review;
- a personalized care plan;
- one-to-one guidance;
- medication shipped to the patient;
- refills at the stated locked rate.
MEDVi also names partner pharmacies on its medical-consent materials. A pharmacy relationship does not turn a compounded preparation into an FDA-approved product, and the exact dispensing pharmacy may depend on the prescription and location.
Cancellation and refunds
MEDVi says a subscription can be cancelled through patient support or the portal. The request should arrive at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Service continues through the already-paid billing cycle.
A full refund is generally limited to cancellation within the first 72 hours when no subscription services have been received, or medical disqualification by the provider. For monthly plans, the month in which cancellation occurs is otherwise non-refundable. For multi-month billing, MEDVi says unused months may be refunded only where medication has not been shipped.
What to verify before paying
- Which MEDVi landing-page offer and medication the checkout is using.
- Whether the amount is charged monthly or prepaid for multiple months.
- The separate brand medication price when choosing the $99 membership path.
- Whether care is available in your state.
- Which pharmacy will dispense the prescription.
- Whether any advertised nutrition or coaching benefit has insurance, eligibility, or copay conditions.
This profile does not repeat MEDVi’s patient counts, weight-loss percentages, testimonials, or metabolism claims because they are company marketing statements rather than independently verified results.
